Vinegar Syndrome’s streaming service Indigogo campaign is officially funded up to 50% with about 15 days left to go. I pledged myself so now it’s your turn. I mean, how can you turn this down? For 65 bucks you get one year of the new service for free. At about ten bucks a month that’s a saving of 35 dollars right off the bat. AND they are throwing in a free limited edition DVD and Blu-Ray. The DVD is a double feature of Murderous Intent and Fight House (starring Al Lewis!). The Blu-Ray is a secret for now but is supposed to be oft-requested and “destined to be one of the most WTF films ever to hit Blu-ray”. Is it more Rae Don wackiness? I hope so.
We’ve recently passed the 50% funded mark, but with just over two weeks to go, a lot more is needed to meet our goal and make our May deadline!
With that said, we thank everyone who has already helped out either by donating to the campaign or by helping promote and share it. Your continued support is what lets us keep restoring and preserving this incredible piece of cinema history.
With time starting to run low, any additional shares and good word of mouth helps. As we’ve said from the beginning, this will happen no matter how much we raise, but we want this service to be as good as it can be and to launch as soon as possible.
We’re starting preliminary work on the site next week and are also looking into additional ways of maximizing the volume of films that will be available on the site so as to provide you with as comprehensive a catalog as possible.
So thanks again and we’re looking forward to the NEAR future when all of our work and your support will pay off.
